Mustard Pork Chops £2.40 / £1.20 per serving

A very classic Bistro style recipe, perfect for a Sunday lunch. The mustard, cider and cream - what a combination!

1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 pork chops
120 ml cider
1 tbsp grainy mustard
75 ml double cream
  1. Cut the fat off the chops.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan pan and cook the chops over a moderately high heat for about 5 minutes a side. Remove them from the pan on plates.
  3. Pour the cider into the pan. Let it bubble away for a minute or so, then add the mustard and stir in the cream.
  4. Let the sauce continue cooking for a few minutes. Pour over the plated pork chops.
Serve with...

...cooked chopped potatoes fried with a bit of vegetable oil.
