1 tbsp vegetable oil
250 g diced casserole beef
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
200 g mushrooms, washed and chopped
1 chicken stock cube
500 ml boiling water
2 tbsp tomato puree
200 ml sour cream
salt and black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Fry the diced casserole beef in a frying pan with the vegetable oil until browned. Place the diced beef in an ovenproof casserole dish.
- Fry the onion, garlic and mushrooms in the same pan for about 5 minutes and add to the casserole dish.
- Add the boiling water with the chicken stock cubes and tomato puree in the casserole dish.
- Cook in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Add the sour cream and taste. Season if needed. Let it cook for a further 10 minutes.
...homemade mashed potatoes or boiled brown rice and some steamed vegetables.
